Clean Sweep

Thank You Clean Sweep Volunteers!
On Saturday, April 21st (AKA the day before Earth Day), Environmental Services hosted a work party at Fenster Nature Park (2033 4th St SE) here in Auburn as part of the City's annual Clean Sweep event.

We had a great group of volunteers of all ages who helped us remove invasive plants such as blackberry, ivy, and scotch broom, as well as a diligent team of plant-mulchers!

Thank you all for taking the time to celebrate Earth Day a bit early and help us care for this special salmon habitat restoration site!
