Per the Governor’s Emergency Proclamation 20-28, the City of Auburn is prohibited from holding an in-person meeting at this time. All meetings will be held virtually and telephonically.

Regular meetings of the Civil Service Commission are held the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room 3, located on the second floor of City Hall at 25 West Main Street in Auburn.
The Civil Service Commission adopts rules and regulations, consistent with State law, for the examination, appointment, demotion, transfer, and promotion of uniformed (Police and Fire) personnel. The Commission hears and determines complaints and appeals.
The Commission consists of three members who serve six-year terms. A member must be a resident of the city for at least three years and a registered voter.
