The Civil Service Commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 9, 2021, has been canceled.

Regular meetings of the Civil Service Commission are held the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m.
The Civil Service Commission adopts rules and regulations, consistent with State law, for the examination, appointment, demotion, transfer, and promotion of uniformed (Police and Fire) personnel. The Commission hears and determines complaints and appeals.
The Commission consists of three members who serve six-year terms. A member must be a resident of the city for at least three years and a registered voter.
