Synapse Circus Center is pleased to present Circo Vivo: A Celebration of Life.
This show will feature amateur, semi-pro, and professional performers in a circus variety showcase of acrobatics, aerial arts, juggling, tumbling, and more as a benefit for the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Good Samaritan Fund.
“Circo Vivo” began in May 2005 as a benefit performance for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. It was created by Synapse Circus owner Crystal Campbell, who then worked at the School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts, and her mother, Eloise Mathews. The two teamed up again the following year for a second benefit circus variety performance. Sadly, Eloise Mathews passed away in 2014. Crystal is pleased to be reviving this fantastic, family-friendly performance to both honor her mother and benefit local children. “Circus allows everyone to experience something unbelievable,” Crystal says, about the transformative power of circus arts, “whether it is by watching performers move in unbelievable ways or in doing something yourself which you thought was unbelievable.”
Circo Vivo: A Celebration of Life continues the tradition of benefiting children at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. All proceeds benefit the hospital.
