Lisa Stirgus

Lisa Sturgis HeadshotCouncilmember Lisa Stirgus was appointed to the Auburn City Council in April 2025. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in financial services and nonprofit work, with a passion for youth development, education, and community empowerment.

Originally from Reno, Nevada, Lisa and her husband moved to Washington in 2013 and settled in Auburn in 2018. She currently serves on the Green River College Foundation Board and the King County Children and Youth Advisory Board, where she co-chairs the Youth Justice Subcommittee.

Lisa is passionate about public safety, economic opportunity, and making sure every Auburn resident feels seen and heard. In her free time, she enjoys cooking Italian meals, spending time with family (especially her two puppies and grand-pups), and playing billiards with her husband.
