Virtual Fitness Membership 

Stay on track with your health and fitness goals with a Virtual Fitness Membership!  Join the instructors you know and love from the Auburn Community & Event Center for a variety of 60 minute classes each week.  Classes will be offered on ZOOM, an online video platform that can be accessed on a smart phone, computer, laptop or tablet. 
It's easy to sign up, for instructions see below.

Mondays, 4:30 PM - Group Power
Tuesdays, 11:00 AM - Strength & Body Sculpt NEW!
Thursdays, 4:30 PM - Group Power - NEW!
Fridays, 10:30 AM - Strength & Stretch
Fridays, 11:45 AM- Tai Chi
Saturdays, 10:15 AM - Yoga Flow Registrations are required

Masks are required at all times for In-Person Fitness.  Reservations are required for Saturday classes only.  See class descriptions below:


Fitness Memberships

The monthly Virtual Fitness Membership entitles members to full access to Live Virtual Fitness classes and the Virtual Fitness Class Library.

Fees:

  • Adults (ages 18 and over): $20 month
  • Seniors (age 50+) or Teens (age 12-17): $15/month

Join A Zoom Meetinglady with computer

You will need one of the following devices to join the Zoom meeting:

  • Smart Phone
  • Laptop or Computer
  • Tablet

Fitness Members will have a meeting link emailed to them, click on that link to join any class during it's scheduled time.

  • The link will be accessible through any Smartphone, Tablet or Laptop/Computer
  • Once you click on the link, it will redirect you to the ZOOM site
  • You will have to register by putting your full name and email

Note:  The host will have to start the meeting first so you can join or the host enables 'join before host'.

Fitness Center Now Open!

The Fitness Center is now open for reservations Monday-Thursday 9;00 AM - 1:00 PM and Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.  Reservations are required for a 45-minute session.  Space is limited for each session and masks are required to be worn at all times.  


SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life)

SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness program for adults age 50 and older.  Exercises to improve strength, balance and fitness are the most important activity to stay active and reduce  chances of falling.  SAIL consists of a warm up, light aerobics, strength & balance training and cool down.  All exercises can be done seated or standing.  Class;is free and requires registrationit is a virtual class held on Zoom.  Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:45 AM.  SAIL is not part of Fitness Membership.

Many Virtual Fitness Classes use equipment to supplement the workout.  There are many common alternatives that you can find around the house.  See below for ideas.
