Evidence Technicians

The evidence room is staffed by two evidence technicians who are responsible for the proper storage, disposal, and destruction of all the evidence and property taken into custody by the Auburn Police Department. The evidence technicians process over 8,000 items per year and dispose or destroy approximately 6,000 per year. The evidence technicians perform laboratory examination of marijuana and are responsible for submitting all other evidence to the state crime lab for analysis.
