Auburn PD Records is proud to offer Auburn and out-of-state residents access to a third party online CPL processing system. If you believe you meet the eligibility criteria (not sure? click the application link below), you may submit and pay for your CPL application online (subject to convenience and credit card processing fees).
NOTE: Applications are reviewed daily and applications for those living outside the City limits of Auburn (who are not out of state residents) will be rejected. Convenience and credit card processing fees will NOT be refunded.
All new/original Applicants (and those with licenses expired more than 90 days) must be fingerprinted as part of the application process; this service requires an appointment which can be scheduled via the online application.
Applicants must show or upload a valid, government-issued I.D., and the expired/expiring CPL, if applicable. A school or work I.D. is not acceptable.

Original CPL’s
Don’t want to use the online system to apply for your CPL? If you do not want/cannot use the online system to apply for your Original CPL, please call our Records unit at 253-931-3080 to schedule a fingerprint appointment. Fingerprint appointments are only needed for Original CPL’s.
