Pre-School (Ages 1-5)

Options for the pre-school age are abundant in Auburn and include Indoor Playground at the Gymnasium at Les Gove Park, Arts & Crafts classes, dance, music, pre-school sport programs, parent-participation programs and much more. Programs and classes vary with each new registration session.

You can register for programs a variety of different ways and view current programs and activities being offered in an online database at Auburn @ Play Online or call 253-931-3043.

Parent Participated Classes - ages 2-6

Tinker Tots: Creative Makerspace Adventures! | Tuesdays |  10:00 - 11:00 AM 

Half of this class will be spent singing, storytelling, and play, and the other half will be spent in our Auburn Makerspace crafting! Both activities will be connected by a theme of the week.

Pre-school Sportspreschool sports

An introduction for you and your toddler to the world of sports. You and your child participate together in fun, age-appropriate activities that help your child develop their large motor skills and socialization skills.

Kids Playtime

Location:  Auburn Community and Event Center
Fee: $10 for 2 hours of care

Do you need a couple of hours to yourself, have an appointment, or want to meet up with a friend and do not have a sitter?  We can help!  Bring your child, ages 2-10 to our drop-in childcare program and we will keep them entertained and safe.  All staff have undergone a National Background Check.  Two hours of care for $10. 

Call the Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Office at 253-931-3043 for specific times and days.  Times and days coordinate with fitness classes and may change quarterly.  Staff are unable to change children’s clothing.  View full fitness schedule.
