About CERT

CERT is a blend of hands-on and classroom education that will have participants practicing extinguishing fires, treating injuries, and search and rescue techniques, as well as learn skills like emergency preparedness, utility safety, prioritizing medical care, emergency communications, and how to address the psychological impact of disasters. At the end of the course, CERTs will find, rescue, and treat 'injured' survivors for the final earthquake drill!
