Cedar Lanes Park is a unique combination of native woodland, well-kept lawn, and a playground. The woodsy area features very old trees. Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department has partnered with Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance for construction of the bike skills park that was added in 2023.

Phase One: Bike Skills Park 

  • Phase One of the Bike Skills Park at Cedar Lanes Park includes several skills areas:
  • A Drop-Zone with four “drops” of varying difficulty and a one-way return track
  • Dirt trailSkinnies for riders to practice bike control and maneuvering through technical terrain
  • A jump track that offers a series of jumps and tabletops for varying skill levels
  • A dirt flow track that flows through the park outside the existing paved pedestrian track

Phase Two: Pump Track & Park Improvements

PHASE TWO will include construction of an asphalt pump track, a restroom facility and a picnic shelter.

Park History

Named for the development area in south Auburn and for the number of Cedar trees located on the property. The property was purchased with IAC money just before 1968 and was formally dedicated in 1969.

From I-5 or Hwy 167, take the Hwy 18 East. Take the Auburn-Enumclaw Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Auburn Way South. Continue south on Auburn Way. At the intersection of M Street SE turn right. Continue through the stop sign on M Street. Turn right on 25th Street SE. The park is on your left.
