ORCA Cards |
As part of the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program, the City of Auburn offers subsidized ORCA cards. The City subsidizes up to $75 per month in Sounder and Metro bus fares.
Full-time, regular employees are eligible to participate in the CTR program. To get started, please email Human Resources to issue an ORCA card and have it pre-loaded with a $75 voucher. Vouchers are added monthly (usually around the last week of a month for the following month). Both the City and the employee are able to add funds to the ORCA card. The cards can be used on public transportation throughout King and Pierce County.

Membership includes:
- Unlimited use of the fitness center
- Open gym programs
- Unlimited access to the full virtual fitness class library
- Drop-in childcare (Childcare fees are applicable for City employees. Childcare is available for $15/month unlimited visits or $4 drop-in fee)
